Junior CAD Designer | Barnsley | Competitive starting salary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an established and growing manufacturing business within their Design department. The company is known for producing high-quality fitted products for the UK market and continues to invest in its people, technology and long-term growth.
This role offers structured training, career development and the opportunity to progress into a Designer position. A full induction programme will be provided to support learning of CAD software, systems and products.
The Role
The successful candidate will support the Design team by producing and amending layouts using CAD software, while also supporting internal teams and customers.
Key responsibilities include:
*Producing new and amended layouts using CAD software
*Handling telephone queries from internal teams and external customers
*Liaising with team members, team leaders and management
*Keeping up to date with new procedures and product updates
*Supporting with additional departmental duties when required
Candidate Requirements
You must be:
*Confident communicating with people at all levels
*Self-motivated and able to work well within a team
*Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
*Computer literate
You will also have:
*Strong organisational, written and numerical skills
*Excellent timekeeping and time management
*Some CAD software experience or a design-related qualification (preferred but not essential)
