About the Role
You will support our solicitors in managing a varied caseload of civil and commercial disputes. The role offers exposure to a broad spectrum of litigation matters and will allow you to build your experience in legal research, drafting, and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assist with the management of litigation cases from instruction to resolution
*Draft, review, and proofread court documents, pleadings, correspondence, and settlement agreements
*Conduct legal research and prepare clear reports or briefs for solicitors
*Attend court hearings, mediations, or client meetings as required
*Liaise with clients, counsel, experts, and third parties
*Maintain accurate case management records and ensure compliance with deadlines
*Support the team with administrative and business development tasks as required
Requirements:
*1–3 years’ experience in a litigation or disputes environment (law firm or in-house)
*Understanding of Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and litigation processes
*Strong drafting, research, and organisational skills
*Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
*Excellent communication and client service skills
*Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially aware
