Talent Finance are delighted to be exclusively partnering with our client to appoint an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.
This is a hands-on, operational finance role within a well-established manufacturing business where finance sits at the heart of day-to-day decision making.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role across the full transactional finance cycle while gaining valuable exposure to reconciliations, reporting and month-end processes.

The Opportunity:
This role offers real breadth and ownership across core finance responsibilities, including:
*Sales ledger management, including invoicing, PODs, credit notes and allocation of receipts
*Active credit control and management of aged debt
*Purchase ledger processing, supplier payments and bank transfers
*Bank, supplier and VAT reconciliations
*Supporting month-end processes, including VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations
*Daily cashflow, debtor and creditor reporting for senior leadership
*Supporting the annual audit process
*Maintaining and improving finance processes and documentation
This position would suit someone who enjoys working in a structured, organised environment while remaining comfortable operating at pace within a busy finance function.
Key skills and experience:
*Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant, finance or bookkeeping role, ideally within an SME environment
*Working towards full AAT qualification
*Confident Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
*Experience supporting reconciliations and month-end processes
*Proactive, reliable and comfortable taking ownership of your workload
*Strong attention to detail and a steady, dependable approach are essential.
