Description
*Prepare accurate financial reports in accordance with accounting standards.
*Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and regulations.
*Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
*Manage reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy.
*Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and analysis.
*Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
*Identify and implement improvements to financial processes.
*Provide support for financial planning and budgeting activities.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
*Professional accounting qualifications (newly qualified) or be working towards completion with study support available.
*Strong balance sheet / financial controls knowledge.
*Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
*Experience in the Manufacturing industry or knowledge is advantageous
*Proficiency in financial software and tools.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
*Able to commute to their offices 5 days a week in Nottingham.
Job Offer
*Competitive salary between £45,000 and £50,000 per annum.
