We’re partnering with a not for profit organsiation based in Liverpool who are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their excellent team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The Financial Accountant will be supporting the Head of Financial Accounts. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a visible, hands-on role where your technical expertise will make an immediate impact.
The Role As a Financial Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, compliant and timely financial reporting. Typical responsibilities include:
* Supporting the production of statutory accounts

* Leading on month-end and year-end processes

* Balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts

* Assisting with audit queries and technical accounting matters

* Maintaining strong financial controls and compliance

* Supporting regulatory and financial reporting requirements

About You * Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent)

* Strong technical accounting background

* Experience within a regulated environment – ideally housing or not-for-profit

* Confident working with auditors and interpreting accounting standards

* Detail-oriented, proactive and collaborative

*Able to commit to a 6 month contract and able to start at the beginning of March.
