Job Description:
New Delivery Manager role for large UK retailer working on major ERP migration programme - Day rate contract role 6 months initially. Multi year programme - Inside IR35
SAP ERP Migration Program
*Migration from Oracle systems to new SAP ERP platforms.
*Holistic view of commercial activities to support the program.
*Experience in managing technical complexity at scale is crucial.
*Planning and coordination role rather than hands-on delivery.
*Cross-portfolio role smoothing complex technical releases.
Role Requirements
*Not just a delivery role focused on planning, coordination, and technical project management.
*Emphasis on communication, influencing, and gravitas for project execution.
*Weekly updates for senior stakeholders on project status, challenges, and risks.
*Complex Release Program Management
*Coordination and sequencing of multi-week/month releases.
*Engaging and preparing impacted teams for changes.
*Close to a delivery manager role with awareness of complex software releases.
*Ensuring downstream dependencies are managed
