Job Description:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a highly regarded International law firm, seeking for an experienced Knowledge Lawyer - Corporate to join their corporate team based in Birmingham. his is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified solicitor with a strong M&A background to step into a pivotal role that combines legal expertise, innovation, and collaboration.
The Role
As a Knowledge Lawyer - Corporate in Birmingham, you will play a key role in enhancing the efficiency and quality of the corporate team’s work. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining legal precedents, creating know-how resources, delivering training, and monitoring legal developments. You will also have the exciting opportunity to explore and implement new technologies, including AI tools, to improve productivity and service delivery within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain practical guidance material to support the corporate team.
· Create, update, and maintain precedent documents to ensure they reflect current law, market practices, and regulatory developments.
· Organise and deliver training sessions for lawyers at all levels, covering technical updates, transactional skills, and market trends.
· Provide research assistance on technical legal queries
· Track changes in legislation, case law, and regulatory guidance; circulate updates to the team as needed.
· Identify upcoming legal or regulatory changes that may impact clients or the practice area.
· Prepare client briefings and alerts on significant legal developments or market trends.
· Explore and implement new technologies (e.g., AI tools) to improve productivity, streamline processes, enhance document review, and support legal research.
About You:
· A qualified solicitor with corporate transactional experience (M&A focus preferred) based in Birmingham.
· Strong technical grounding and an interest in developing others.
· Organised, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously while collaborating effectively.
· Passionate about innovation and exploring how technology can enhance legal services.
