Job Description:
Supply Chain Planner
*Annual Salary: Up to £40,000
*Location: New Milton
*Job Type: Hybrid (Mon–Fri, 35 hrs per week)
*Start Date: Spring 2026
Join our client’s team as a Supply Chain Planner and take ownership of planning processes, drive supplier performance, and ensure smooth operations. This role demands a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and proactive problem-solving skills.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Build robust demand and supply plans, supporting the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
*Manage day-to-day supplier performance focusing on On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery, lead times, and compliance.
*Resolve issues such as delays, capacity constraints, and stock shortages.
*Maintain optimal inventory levels and monitor inventory health.
*Support logistics, including inbound and outbound flows, and ensure compliance with relevant requirements.
*Report key KPIs such as forecast accuracy, OTIF, and inventory turns in collaboration with the Supply Chain Analyst.
*Identify trends, bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in supply planning, production planning, or inventory management.
*Strong understanding of forecasting, capacity planning, and supplier management.
*Proficient user of ERP/MRP systems.
*Sharp analytical skills, high data accuracy, and excellent attention to detail.
*Ability to influence stakeholders and work collaboratively across teams.
*Calm under pressure with strong prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
*Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field is ideal; APICS certification is desirable.
