Location: Southend-on-Sea
Salary: ££39,152-£45,091
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Hybrid Working: Minimum 2 days per week on site
Relocation Package: Up to £8,000

Are you an experienced and passionate Social Worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with disabilities and their families? We are working on behalf of Southend On Sea Borough Council and are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their dedicated Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team and help deliver outstanding support and safeguarding services.

About the Role: As a Social Worker within our CWD Team, you will:
*Work with children and young people with complex needs, safeguarding and supporting them to achieve positive outcomes.
*Carry out high-quality assessments and develop effective care and support plans.
*Collaborate closely with families and multi-agency partners to ensure holistic, child-centred care.
*Contribute to a forward-thinking service committed to delivering the right support at the right time.

About You To be successful in this role, you will:
*Be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England (SWE)
*Have successfully completed your ASYE
*Have experience in children’s social care, with demonstrable experience supporting children with disabilities
*Be skilled in assessment, safeguarding, and multi-agency partnership working
*Hold a valid driving licence and have access to your own car to visit children and families across the borough

*Hybrid working is available, but attendance on site is required a minimum of 2 days per week (unless otherwise agreed).
