Senior Account Executive / Director - Commercial
Salary: Circa £75,000
Location: Buckinghamshire
We are seeking an experienced commercial insurance professional to drive new business growth while managing and developing an established client portfolio.
This is a strategic, client-facing role combining business development, relationship management, and market expertise. You will act as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored insurance solutions, leading renewals, and identifying opportunities to add value and secure long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop and win new commercial insurance business.
*Manage and retain a portfolio of clients through consultative service.
*Lead renewal negotiations and secure competitive market terms.
*Maintain strong insurer relationships and market insight.
*Ensure full compliance with FCA and regulatory requirements.
*Support and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
*Proven commercial insurance Account Executive experience.
*Strong track record in new business generation.
*Solid knowledge of insurance markets and underwriting.
*Experience managing client portfolios and renewals.
*CII / ACII qualified (or working towards).
*CRM and insurance system proficiency (Acturis desirable).
