Service Desk Manager
Barnsley – 100% site based

Elevation Tech & Transformation are working with a prestigious organisation in Barnsley to recruit a hands-on Support Desk Manager.
Reporting to the Head of IT, this role combines team leadership (circa 35%) with active involvement in technical support, escalations and complex tickets. This is a player-coach position not a purely supervisory role.
The Role
*Lead, mentor and develop a small IT support team
*Act as the escalation point for complex issues
*Manage ticket queues and SLA performance
*Remain hands-on across day-to-day support
*Drive improvements in process and service delivery
What We’re Looking For
*Demonstrable experience in a Team Lead / Supervisory IT support role
*Strong background in service desk / end-user support
*Solid Microsoft 365 administration (users, licensing, mailboxes)
*Experience with Windows Server, AD, Group Policy, VPN, WiFi
*Confident handling escalations
Desirable: Intune, Entra ID (Azure AD), Halo, ITIL, Veeam, Mimecast.
