Role: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Bacup
Hours: Days, 35 hour working week
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience
HRGO Recruitment are partnering with a specialist manufacturing business to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer to join their technical team.
This is a hands on role within a regulated manufacturing environment, offering the opportunity to lead process improvements and support new product introductions.
The role:
*Drive Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives across production
*Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and support CAPA actions
*Develop and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and engineering drawings
*Lead process validation activities to ensure manufacturing robustness and compliance
*Support new product introduction and manufacturing optimisation projects
*Design and improve tooling, fixtures, and production processes
The candidate:
*Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification
*Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
*Strong knowledge of process validation, quality systems, and lean manufacturing principles
*Proficient in data-driven problem solving
*Hands on, collaborative, and able to work effectively across teams
