Position: Production Supervisor
Location: Liverpool
Hours: Monday - Friday

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a shift-based manufacturing team. The successful candidate will ensure safe, controlled operations, maintain high-quality standards, and allocate work effectively to achieve efficient production performance.

Key responsibilities
Lead and supervise production staff to meet daily output and quality targets.
Work safely and in a controlled manner, enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards.
Take a proactive approach to maintaining and improving product quality.
Allocate work appropriately based on individual skill, knowledge, and capability to ensure efficient service and optimal use of resources.
Coach, train and develop team members; manage performance and provide clear feedback.

Skills and experience required
Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong commitment to working safely and promoting a safety-first culture.
Ability to allocate tasks and balance workloads according to team members’ skills, knowledge and capabilities.
Good leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Strong communication, organisational and decision-making skills.
Basic IT literacy for production reporting and shift documentation.
