Job Description:
We’re recruiting an experienced MIG/TIG Welder for a market-leading manufacturer of special-purpose food machinery based in Gamlingay. This is a permanent, full-time MIG/TIG Welding role offering competitive pay, overtime, and excellent job security.
As a MIG/TIG Welder, you will work on stainless steel fabrication (1.0mm–12mm), including pipework and purge welding, using MIG/TIG welding processes daily. This role requires the ability to read engineering drawings, work to tight tolerances, and operate fabrication and sheet-metal machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
*TIG welding on stainless steel components
*Pipework and purge welding
*Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
*General fabrication work
*Using sheet-metal and fabrication machinery
Essential Skills & Experience:
*Proven MIG/TIG Welder experience
*Strong stainless steel welding background
*Ability to work with 1.0mm–12mm thickness
*Understanding of tolerances and bend allowances
*Confident working from engineering drawings

*Overtime paid at 1.5x
