Citadel Source are delighted to be supporting a growing business in recruiting a Management Accountant. This is a key role within a high-performing finance team, helping to scale and professionalise the finance function.
The roleWe are seeking a proactive and commercially-minded Management Accountant to join the finance team. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, operationally focused business.
As a Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
*Preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis
*Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
*Supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes
*Assisting with KPI reporting and financial analysis for business units
*Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information to senior management
*Identifying process improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency
*Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed
What the client is looking for
*Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar financial reporting role
*Strong understanding of accounting principles and management accounting processes
*Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems
*Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
*High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What the client offers
*Salary: £45,000–£55,000 per annum
*12-month fixed-term contract
