A well-regarded South Yorkshire firm is looking for an experienced Family Solicitor to join its Barnsley office. This is a great opportunity to take on a varied caseload within a supportive, close-knit team that values empathy, professionalism and long-term relationships.
You’ll step into an established department with strong local ties and a consistent flow of new instructions – with the added benefit of hybrid working once you’re settled in.
The Role:
*Managing a caseload of family law matters, including:
*Divorce and financial remedy
*Private and public children matters
*Domestic abuse and injunctions
*Cohabitation and separation agreements

*Preparing court documents, conducting advocacy where appropriate and liaising with clients throughout
*Legal Aid experience preferred but not essential
About You:
*You may be a Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Family Fee Earner
*Confident handling a mixed caseload independently
*Approachable and sensitive to clients’ needs during challenging times
*Comfortable working in a high street or community-focused firm
