Caretaker / Cleaner - Immediate Start
Location: Millwall, E14 8SJ
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full Time
Start Date: Immediately
Salary: £14.43 per hor
Are you reliable, hardworking, and looking to join a busy and supportive housing organisation in London? We are recruiting for an immediate start Caretaker / Cleaner to help maintain high standards across residential blocks and communal areas.
About the Role As a key member of the estate services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of social housing and leasehold properties. Your duties will include:
*Cleaning and maintaining communal areas
*Sweeping and tidying car parks
*Mopping and general caretaking duties
*Managing bin rotation across the estate
*Keeping bin stores and sheds clean and organised
*Supporting the smooth running of the estate with day-to-day maintenance tasks
About You We’re looking for someone who is:
*Experienced in caretaking, cleaning, or property/estate management (preferred)
*Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
*Comfortable working across multiple residential blocks
*Friendly and professional with a strong work ethic
