The OpportunityA high-achieving and well-structured primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint a proactive Teaching Assistant to support a busy Year 2 classroom. This role is centred around raising attainment and supporting pupils working just below age-related expectations.
The class has a positive atmosphere but requires a Teaching Assistant who can confidently support learning during independent tasks and maintain high expectations around focus and behaviour.
Your Role Will Include*Supporting whole-class learning alongside the class teacher

*Delivering targeted Maths and phonics interventions

*Supporting pupils with mild learning difficulties

*Encouraging independence and resilience

*Assisting with classroom organisation and displays

The Ideal Candidate*Previous KS1 experience

*Strong understanding of phonics and early numeracy

*Confident managing low-level disruption

*Reliable and consistent

*Keen to contribute to a structured school environment
