Reed Accountancy is proud to be working with a business in Leeds seeking an interimBookkeeper to join their team as soon as possible. This part-time, office-based position is offered on an initial 6-month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions and maintaining accurate, up-to-date financial records
Location: Leeds
Working Hours: Part-time (office-based)
Duties:
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
*Process invoices, receipts, payments and expenses
*Process and manage purchase orders
*Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
*Reconcile supplier payments and manage accounts payable/receivable
*Liaise with accountants and internal teams as needed
*Set up new clients
*Ad hoc admin duties as required
*Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
You will need to demonstrate:
*Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role
*Proficiency using Xero and Excel
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Strong communication skills
*Ability to prioritise tasks
