Opportunity for a FinTech Commercial Associate to join a Top Tier International Law Firm in London
The firm
Our client is a leading international law firm with a standout global reputation for advising businesses operating at the intersection of technology, financial services, and regulation.
The firm is widely recognised for its heritage and market-leading position in technology, IP, and financial services regulatory work, and is trusted by major financial institutions and high-growth FinTechs navigating fast-moving, tech-driven change.
The team
The FinTech team sits within a large and highly regarded Commercial practice and is consistently recognised as top tier in the market.
The team advises on a broad range of commercial FinTech matters, frequently working alongside regulatory specialists to deliver fully integrated advice. Work is often international in scope and involves sophisticated clients ranging from established financial services businesses to high-growth FinTechs and scale-ups.
The role
The firm is looking to welcome a mid-level associate into its FinTech Commercial team.
Working closely with multiple partners, the successful candidate will play a key role in the growth of the UK FinTech offering and will be involved in a wide range of high-quality matters, including:
*Advising on commercial FinTech arrangements, often with a financial services regulatory overlay
*Drafting and negotiating complex technology agreements, including SaaS, cloud, licensing, outsourcing and technology implementation projects
*Advising clients operating across payments, data, blockchain, alternative data, and platform-based models
*Supporting high-growth FinTechs as well as established financial institutions on strategic, business-critical projects
*Developing strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives in the FinTech space
Required
*UK qualified FinTech Solicitor with 3 - 5 PQE
*Strong background in commercial technology work
*Must have FinTech or financial services exposure
