Trainee/Mortgage Advisor
Salary: £28k -£35k DOE + OTE £60k + company benefits
Location: Horsham (Office based)
Hours: Full Time and will consider Part Time
Are you fully CeMAP qualified (1, 2 & 3) and looking to progress into a Mortgage Advisor role — or are you already an experienced, CAS status Mortgage Advisor seeking a new opportunity within a supportive brokerage?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a professional and growing mortgage brokerage based in Horsham. The business is open to both:
*Fully CeMAP qualified individuals looking to gain CAS status with structured support.
*Experienced Mortgage Advisors who already hold CAS status and are ready to contribute from day one
For trainee-level candidates, full support will be provided to achieve CAS status, offering a clear and structured progression pathway. For experienced Advisors, there is the opportunity to join an established environment with strong earning potential and autonomy.
The Role
You will guide clients through the mortgage process, providing tailored advice and ensuring applications progress smoothly from initial enquiry through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
*Conduct detailed fact finds and assess clients’ financial circumstances.
*Provide advice on a wide range of mortgage products.
*Manage applications from recommendation through to completion.
*Liaise with lenders, solicitors and third parties to ensure efficient case progression.
*Maintain full compliance in line with FCA regulations.
*Build and maintain strong client relationships.
*Stay up to date with mortgage market trends and lender criteria.
To apply for this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
*Fully CeMAP qualified (1, 2 & 3) – essential.
*Either working towards CAS status or already holding CAS status.
*Previous experience within a mortgage or financial services environment.
*Strong knowledge of mortgage products and regulatory requirements.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*Organised, driven and client focused.
