Talent Finance are recruiting on behalf of a fast-paced and growing organisation seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support their busy finance team on a short term temporary basis, for an immediate start.
This is a varied and hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with high volumes of financial data, thrives in a structured environment and takes pride in accuracy.


Key Responsibilities
*Full accounts payable process, from purchase orders through to payment runs
*Resolving supplier queries and discrepancies
*Supplier and credit card reconciliations
*Preparing supplier and seller payment runs
*Processing staff expenses
*Supporting monthly payroll processes
*Monitoring and reconciling accounts receivable
*Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
*Assisting with month-end reporting and journals
*Handling finance queries from internal stakeholders
*Supporting automation initiatives and process improvements
*Ad hoc analysis and project work


About You
*Experience of working in a similar role
*Experience in a high-volume, fast paced finance environment
*Strong Excel skills and comfortable handling large datasets
*High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy
*Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
*Organised, hands-on and able to prioritise workload effectively
*AAT part or fully qualified (desirable)
*Experience with NetSuite advantageous but not essential
