The Job You’ll Do;
*Direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the testing area.
*Ensure all tests are properly prepared, executed, and concluded in accordance with SOPs
*Analyse and interpret customer technical specifications and requirements.
*Plan and schedule both internal and external testing activities, including effective resource allocation.
*Own and manage the functional test plan, contributing to the overall project schedule.
*Ensure scheduled preventive and planned maintenance activities are completed effectively.
*Maintain, track, and update the test request database to ensure accuracy and visibility.
*Apply robust testing methodologies and data analysis techniques.
*Oversee the collection and management of test data from internal, regional, and third-party sources.
*Compile, evaluate, and present comprehensive test reports with clear data-driven insights.
*Lead the procurement and/or development of test fixtures and equipment.
*Ensure full compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies.
*Support team training initiatives and contribute to ongoing technical capability development.
*Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance and cross-functional teams
*Drive KPI achievement through effective resource planning and team development.
About You;
*HND qualified or higher in a relevant engineering discipline (Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering).
*Extensive experience within a manufacturing or engineering test environment.
*In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and associated components.
*Strong technical testing expertise, including software applications, acoustic analysis, thermodynamics, and instrumentation.
*Excellent verbal communication and technical presentation abilities.
*Skilled in preparing clear, precise, and comprehensive technical reports.
*Highly organised, self-driven, and proactive in approach.
*Advanced problem-solving skills with solid engineering analysis capability.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
*Able to work independently with flexibility and minimal supervision.
*Willing and able to travel within the UK and internationally as required.
*Effective collaborator with R&D, Development Engineering, and global cross-functional teams.
