Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk (Part-Time)
Location: Pulborough, West Sussex
Contract: 3 Month Contract, 24hrs a week Monday to Thursday, flexible hrs, onsite
Rate: £16ph


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Accounts Payable Clerk to join a busy finance team within a leading manufacturing business. This part-time role would suit someone with experience in accounts payable who enjoys working methodically, has strong attention to detail, and can manage multiple priorities with accuracy.


Key Responsibilities


*Process and control transactions for supplier invoices, ensuring all documentation is accurate and approved.
*Review, reconcile and process company expenses and credit card statements in line with policies.
*Carry out supplier statement reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly.
*Support with supplier returns, ensuring compliance with VAT and financial procedures.
*Liaise with internal departments to resolve invoice and delivery discrepancies.
*Assist the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative duties and provide holiday cover when required.


Skills and Experience


*Previous experience working within an Accounts Payable or Finance environment.
*Confident with MS Office, particularly Excel.
*Knowledge of MRP or ERP systems preferred.
*Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team.
