Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm

(Two 30-minute breaks per day)

Job Overview
Our client works in partnership with the UK abattoir industry, providing specialist salting and shipping services for lambskins and cattle hides as part of a global raw material supply chain. This role is based at a busy abattoir site in Kenilworth. All animals processed on site are halal slaughtered. The successful candidate will support the collection, preparation, and processing of lambskins — a by-product of the meat industry — ensuring they are handled efficiently and to a high standard.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone enthusiastic, hardworking, and physically capable. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.

Pay & Benefits
*Starting rate: £14.00 per hour
*Hourly rate includes:
*Early start bonus and Salting bonus
*Free on-site parking

Key Duties
*Trimming of skins
*Salting of skins
*General cleaning and housekeeping
*Unloading and reloading lorries
*Operating a forklift (where licensed)
Requirements
*Reliable and punctual
*Physically fit and able to carry out manual work
*Positive, "can do" attitude
*Able to work quickly and efficiently
*Comfortable working under pressure
*Team player with the ability to work independently
*Own transport required
*FLT Counterbalance licence desirable but not essential
*Flexible to meet business needs
