We are working with a growing organisation to recruit a Head of People to lead and strengthen its people function.
The role can be based in either Manchester or Birmingham, with hybrid working on offer.
Key responsibilities:
*Lead the People strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
*Manage an established team, with the opportunity to further develop and scale the function as the company enters a significant period of growth.
*Coach and support managers in performance management, employee development, and engagement.
*Ensure HR compliance and adherence to UK employment law and best practice.
*Drive engagement, wellbeing, and diversity initiatives to support a positive and inclusive culture.
Experience Required:
*Proven experience operating as a Head of People (or in a senior HR leadership role), with responsibility for setting and delivering people strategy aligned to business objectives.
*Strong working knowledge of UK employment law, with the ability to manage complex employee relations matters confidently and ensure organisational compliance.
*Demonstrated experience supporting senior stakeholders and line managers across performance, engagement, and organisational development.
*CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualification
