Start: ASAP
We are exclusively partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed book wholesaler and online bookseller operating across the UK and US.
This is a rare opportunity to lead publisher partnerships at a business modernising how books are bought, priced, stocked, and sold.
Reporting directly to the Founder, you will own publisher relationships end-to-end and play a central role in scaling trading partnerships across major publishers.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and deepen relationships with leading UK and international publishers

* Negotiate commercial terms, discounts, print runs, buying volumes, and supply agreements

* Advise on buying strategy, catalogue priorities, and sales opportunities

* Act as the company’s publishing industry expert and trusted external voice

* Help shape scalable processes for publisher onboarding and partnership growth

About You
You will bring strong publisher-facing commercial experience, ideally from trade publishing, wholesale/distribution, vendor management, or strategic partnerships.
You’ll have excellent negotiation skills, a strong network, and the confidence to operate in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment.
Why Join?
This is a chance to play a defining role in the next generation of book wholesale, with significant autonomy, founder-level access, and meaningful upside.
