Job Description:
*Based Surrey Hampshire Border
*Proven experience as a Site or Maintenance Engineer
*Strong mechanical and/or electrical background
Talent Guardian is supporting a food manufacturing business in the search for a hands-on Site Engineer . This role is critical to ensuring production equipment and site services operate safely, reliably, and efficiently in a BRCGS-regulated environment.
You’ll take ownership of maintenance, breakdown response, and engineering improvements, playing a key role in minimising downtime and supporting continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across production and site equipment
*Diagnose faults quickly to maintain production uptime
*Lead and support engineering improvements and equipment upgrades
*Ensure all engineering work complies with food safety, health & safety, and legal requirements
*Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records
*Support internal and external audits where required
About You
*Proven experience as a Site or Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing or food production
*Strong mechanical and/or electrical background
*Confident fault-finder with a practical, hands-on approach
*Good understanding of food safety and UK health & safety requirements
*Comfortable working in a regulated, fast-paced environment
