*Coordinate and improve logistics operations to meet business objectives.
*Oversee and coordinate daily logistics activities with the new Third-Party Warehouse 3PL such as goods-in, storage, stock control, and dispatch.
*Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in logistics practices.
*Manage the flow of goods and materials across the supply chain.
*Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance ways of working with the internal 3PL.
*Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth material flow.
*Implement cost-effective strategies for transportation and distribution.
*Monitor and analyse logistics performance to identify areas for improvement.
*Support the implementation of new processes to improve logistics performance.
*Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on logistics activities.
Profile
A successful Logistics Specialist should have:
*Proven expertise in logistics within the manufacturing sector.
