Are you an experienced Audit & Accounts professional ready to step into a Senior Manager role with real breadth, responsibility and influence?
We are working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy firm seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior Manager to join their growing team. This is a leadership opportunity for someone with strong technical capability across audit and accounts, together with a working knowledge of tax, who enjoys managing client relationships and developing high-performing teams.
What you will be doing as an Audit & Accounts Senior Manager:
*Oversee and lead audit assignments from planning through to completion and sign-off
*Review and oversee the preparation of statutory accounts under FRS102 and IFRS
*Manage consolidated accounts for groups, partnerships and LLPs
*Oversee preparation and review of Corporation Tax computations and returns (CT600)
*Provide technical guidance across audit, accounts and tax matters
*Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients
*Lead audit teams on-site and ensure quality and efficiency of delivery
*Review work prepared by Managers, Seniors and junior staff
*Attend and lead client meetings, including presenting findings and recommendations
*Identify risk areas and provide practical, commercial solutions
*Support Partners in tender presentations and proposal work
What you will need to succeed as an Audit & Accounts Senior Manager:
*ACA or ACCA qualified (or internationally recognised equivalent)
*Significant experience across both audit and accounts within practice
*Working knowledge of Corporation Tax and broader tax principles
*Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients
*Confident leading teams and reviewing complex assignments
*Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS102) and IFRS
*Commercially aware with strong problem-solving skills
*Excellent communicator, confident dealing with senior stakeholders
*Highly organised with strong time management and delegation skills
