Junior Structural Technician
About the Company
Our is an established and growing structural engineering consultancy providing design and advisory services across Cambridgeshire, Essex, London and surrounding areas.
The business is owned and led by experienced directors including a Chartered Engineer.
Due to continued growth and a consistently busy workload, we are now looking to appoint a Junior Structural Technician to strengthen our team and support our expanding client base.

The Role
The primary focus of this position is the preparation of high-quality technical reports assessing the condition of buildings for:
*Property purchases and mortgage approvals
*Insurance claims
*Repairs and refurbishment projects
All work will be carried out under the supervision of a Chartered Engineer, as required by financiers and insurers.
This is a varied role combining site visits and technical reporting, offering genuine exposure to a wide range of structural scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
*Conduct site inspections across the UK
*Collect and record structural observations methodically
*Prepare clear, accurate and well-structured technical reports
*Liaise with Engineers, Directors, Office Manager and Clients
*Assist in delivering professional, cost-effective engineering advice
About You
We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates:
Would suit a graduate Structured Surveying /Advanced apprenticeship in CiIvil Engineering/Construction/T Level in Design, Surveying & planning/Construction,
*Ability to travel to sites and work independently under supervision
*Strong written and spoken English
*Good mathematical ability and understanding of structural concepts
*Methodical and thorough approach to data collection and reporting
*Professional attitude with strong attention to detail
*Initiative and genuine desire to develop within structural engineering
