Job Description:
PRINT OPERATOR
*Day or Night Shift available
*Onsite parking
*Competitive salary
*UK leading Print Company
ROLE DETAILS
*Collect and process work sent down from the repro/print department.
*Ensure that the work is sized correctly, and the appropriate correction curve is applied, QC to job requirements.
*Maintain and process work according to the production schedule.
*Notify the supervisor/manager when a major issue is encountered.
*Problem solve minor issues, to ensure that the work flows smoothly through the department;
*Operating Print Machines / Guillotines and Folders
*Maintain the machinery to manufacturers recommendations.
*Keep work area and machinery clean and tidy
*Select the correct media profile then rip the job to be printed (training will be given if needed).
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
*Thorough knowledge of print production practices and processes.
*Experience with Muller / Heidelberg
*Operational experience with print.
*Demonstrable attention to detail.
*Reliable, trustworthy and conscientious.
*Flexible and effective team member.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
*Team player
*To be known for ’making things happen’ through great service
*A pro-active and ’can do’ attitude
