National Account & Business Development Manager
Barking
£45,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
Monday – Friday, 45 hours per week

We’re looking for a confident, relationship-driven National Account & Business Development Manager to help us grow our presence across the country and build long-term partnerships with leading chefs, venues and foodservice operators.

What you’ll be doing
This is a true dual-role opportunity combining national account management with new business development.
Grow and nurture key accounts
*Build strong, trusted relationships with national foodservice groups and hospitality operators
*Deliver annual growth plans aligned with company targets
*Run monthly business reviews and weekly performance reporting
*Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our product range
*Support pricing, tenders and contract renewals
Win new business
*Identify and secure new national and regional customers
*Build a strong pipeline across hospitality, stadia, education, healthcare, travel and leisure
*Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract award
*Create strategic entry plans for high-value target groups
*Represent us at industry events and exhibitions
*Contribute to growth strategies and forecasting
How success will be measured
You’ll play a key role in driving our commercial performance through:
*Revenue growth (new and existing customers)
*Strong gross margins
*New business wins and account retention
*Pipeline value and conversion
*Tender success rate
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone who is commercially driven, confident and relationship-focused:
*Proven success in National Account Management within foodservice or FMCG
*A track record of winning new business
*Experience supplying contract caterers or hospitality groups
*Strong negotiation and presentation skills
*Solid understanding of the foodservice industry
