Food Production Manager - Meat Products
Salary: £70,000 to £85,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift
We are seeking a highly motivated Food Production Manager to oversee day-to-day operations within a busy food manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to join a growing business and play a key role in ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead, manage, and develop production teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
*Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
*Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, yield, and waste reduction.
*Collaborate with quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to optimise production processes.
*Monitor KPIs and report on performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
*Support and mentor team leaders to achieve operational excellence.
Requirements
*Proven experience in a management role within food manufacturing or FMCG production.
*Strong leadership and people management skills.
*Excellent understanding of HACCP, BRC, and food safety regulations.
*Results-driven, with a proactive and hands-on approach.
*Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
