Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join a leading building services provider on a prestigious commercial site in the City of London.
This role is ideal for an electrically qualified engineer holding City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualifications, who is multi-skilled with strong all-round building services maintenance knowledge and proven supervisory or lead engineer experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
*Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance
*Single & Three Phase Power systems
*Motors & Generators (on/off load testing)
*UPS systems
*LV/HV switching and shutdown procedures
*Switchgear maintenance
*Emergency lighting & fire alarm testing
*AHUs, FCUs, VAVs
*Sprinkler systems
*Pumps, belts, bearings & seals
*BMS operation
*Carrying out isolation of plant and systems in line with safety requirements
*Ensuring corrective and repair works comply with regulations
*Promoting safe working practices and quality standards
*Organising and managing subcontractors
*Completing logbooks and RAMS
*Conducting client meetings
*Keeping the Account Manager regularly updated
*Liaising with client representatives regarding corrective works
*Raising and closing jobs via PDA systems
Requirements:
*City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) in Electrical Installations
*Previous supervisory or lead engineer experience
*Strong building services maintenance background
*Ability to lead a daytime engineering maintenance team
*Career-driven and motivated individual
Salary & Benefits:
*£55,000 – £60,000 per annum
*Monday to Friday (8:00am–5:00pm)
*Overtime available
*25 days holiday
