Job Description:
Senior Management Accountant | Manchester Area | Hybrid 3W/2H | £55,000 - £60,000, generous holiday allowance and wide range of benefits/discounts | Retail/FMCG
The Company A large, fast-growing international retail business operating in multiple sectors. With a strong focus on operational excellence, financial control, and continuous improvement, the organisation supports multiple business units across the UK and internationally. The finance function plays a key role in driving performance, supporting senior stakeholders, and delivering strategic growth initiatives.
The Role *Produce monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting
*Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
*Post key journals and complete balance sheet reconciliations
*Support financial close activities and day-to-day accounting operations
*Partner with senior stakeholders across departments, attending meetings and presenting financial insights
*Lead or support finance projects focused on process improvement and efficiency
*Assist with year-end statutory accounts and internal/external audit requirements
About You *Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
*Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
*High attention to detail with excellent analytical and technical skills
*Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders
*Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing changing priorities
*Experienced with accounting systems and financial reporting tools
What’s on Offer *Salary between £55,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
*Hybrid working with up to 2 days from home per week
