Role: Personal Injury Paralegal - Multi-Track
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000
Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire
Contract: Full time, permanent, hybrid
We are working in partnership with a highly regarded, top-tier UK law firm to recruit an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal - Multi-Track to join its established Serious Injury team.
This role is suited to a paralegal with proven personal injury litigation experience who is confident supporting complex, high-value multi-track matters within a structured and performance-driven environment. You will play a key role in progressing cases efficiently while providing hands-on support to senior fee earners.
The Role
As a Multi-Track Personal Injury Paralegal, you will support the handling of serious and complex injury claims, ensuring files progress in accordance with procedural requirements and internal targets.
Key responsibilities include:

Supporting senior fee earners on multi-track personal injury and serious injury cases
*
Assisting with the progression of litigated matters in line with agreed strategy and court deadlines
*
Drafting routine correspondence, witness statements, and legal documentation via the firm’s case management system
*
Preparing court bundles and assisting with trial preparation where required
*
Acting as a first point of contact for clients and third parties, handling enquiries professionally
*
Managing diaries, limitation dates, and key procedural milestones
*
Maintaining accurate and compliant electronic case files
*
Liaising with medical experts, counsel, insurers, and third parties
*
Coordinating with the Finance team regarding disbursements and outstanding fees
*
Working to agreed monthly KPIs within a target-driven environment
*
Providing additional support during high-volume periods as required
This is a fast-paced role requiring strong file management skills and a thorough understanding of personal injury litigation processes.
Candidate Requirements
Given the technical nature of the caseload, prior personal injury experience is essential.
You will ideally demonstrate:

Experience working on multi-track personal injury or serious injury files
*
Exposure to litigated matters and familiarity with the Civil Procedure Rules
*
Strong drafting and case management skills
*
Experience using a legal case management system
*
Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
*
Confidence communicating with clients and external stakeholders
*
The ability to manage competing deadlines effectively
Candidates with fast-track personal injury experience who are ready to transition into multi-track work will also be considered.
