This is a varied, hands-on position where your bookkeeping expertise won’t be boxed into one narrow task. You’ll work closely with senior leadership in a small, supportive team, taking ownership of key financial processes while playing a valued role in the wider day-to-day running of the office.

What you’ll be getting stuck into as a Bookkeeper
*Processing supplier invoices and resolving account queries efficiently
*Reconciling supplier statements and preparing accurate monthly payment runs
*Monitoring customer and supplier balances to maintain healthy cash flow
*Managing subcontractor invoices and supporting CIS return preparation
*Checking VAT accuracy, including reverse charge requirements where applicable
*Handling high-volume data entry, petty cash and confidential financial records
What you’ll bring to the table as a Bookkeeper
*Previous bookkeeping experience (AAT desirable or qualified by experience)
*Strong working knowledge of Sage 50, Outlook, Word and Excel
*Solid understanding of VAT processes and financial controls
*Experience processing subcontractor payments and supporting CIS returns
*Accurate data entry skills with proven experience managing reconciliations
