A well-established Lexcel and CQS accredited law firm is seeking to recruit a qualified Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner to join its national residential property team based in Birmingham. About the Candidate*Qualified Solicitor, ILEX, or CLC with 2+ years’ PQE
*Strong experience handling sales, purchases, remortgages, shared ownership leases, lease variations, new build purchases, Help to Buy matters, and related transactions
*Confident managing and progressing their own caseload from the outset
*Experience handling residential property caseloads
*Good knowledge of the local area preferred
Key Responsibilities*Managing conveyancing matters from initial instruction through to post-completion
*Handling residential sales and purchases
*Managing remortgage and equity release transactions
*Checking titles for freehold and leasehold properties
*Dealing with transfers of equity and matrimonial transfers
*Supporting and assisting with training conveyancing assistants within the department
*Developing client contacts within the local area
*Referring clients to other departments where appropriate
Additional Duties*Providing cover for other firm offices when required
*Maintaining professional and courteous working relationships with partners and colleagues
*Complying with firm performance standards, policies, and procedures
*Carrying out work with a high level of competence, care, and professionalism
