Description
*Process and verify accounts payable invoices in a timely manner.
*Ensure all payments are accurately recorded and reconciled with accounts.
*Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
*Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
*Assist in preparing reports related to accounts payable activities.
*Support month-end closing processes by ensuring accurate financial data.
*Maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
*Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to streamline processes.
Profile
A successful Part Time Purchase Ledger Assistant should have:
*Previous experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.
*Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
*Good organisational and time management skills.
*Car driver within West Sussex.
*Ability to work independently in a temporary role on part time hours of 24 per week spread across 3 or 4 days
*Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
Job Offer
*Competitive hourly rate ranging from £14.00 to £15.00 per hour.
