Job Description:
This is a role where you are the engine behind decision-making for a manufacturing and sales-driven organisation. A role where your analysis, insight, and reporting directly influence operational and strategic decisions across production, sales, and senior management teams.
Based in Keighley, this is a business finance position within a UK subsidiary of a global manufacturing group. The business is going through transformation and they’re streamlining processes, enhancing reporting, and improving decision-making. You’ll be at the heart of it.
The role:
This is a dual-responsibility position that sits at the intersection of business finance, controlling, and operational analysis:
*Act as a business partner to the manufacturing site leadership, helping to establish a KPI-driven controlling system for production
*Build insightful Power BI dashboards and reporting for manufacturing performance
*Review and improve standard costing processes, analysing variances and driving corrective actions
*Support UK sales leadership with management reporting, financial planning, and forecasting
*Work with stock management and inventory reporting, providing visibility to senior teams
*Support month-end close for three UK subsidiaries, including group reporting
*Contribute to statutory reporting and tax filing processes for UK companies
This is a role where your work shapes decision-making and drives process improvement. You’ll combine hands-on number crunching with strategic insight, collaborating with operational and senior teams alike.
What do you need?
*Part qualified management accountant
*Experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to cost accounting and process improvement
*Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting
*Analytical, self-driven, and able to solve problems independently
*Knowledge of UK statutory reporting, VAT, and direct tax
*Comfortable operating in matrix organisations with decentralised functions
*Excellent MS Excel skills, with Power BI or similar reporting tools experience
*Strong communication skills to engage both UK and international stakeholders
You’ll be someone who thrives on analysis, enjoys translating numbers into business insight, and can influence decisions through clear reporting and actionable recommendations.
Why would you be interested?
*You’ll be at the centre of transformation and improving reporting, planning, and standard costing across a manufacturing site and sales organisation
*Exposure to both operational and strategic business finance
*Work closely with senior leaders in the UK and functional leaders overseas
*Hybrid working with flexibility, within a collaborative and forward-looking finance team
*Opportunity to develop your career in a global manufacturing organisation, gaining cross-functional and international exposure
What’s in it for you?
*An annual salary of up to £40k (depending on experience)
*Genuine flexibility (4 day working week)
*25 days annual leave + bank holidays
