Accounts Manager
*Annual Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Reed Accountancy are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a growing, high end design and manufacturing company based in Oxford who are seeking an Accounts Manager to oversee the finance function of a company with a £15m turnover. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our operations. The position includes supervising team members, handling daily financial activities, and contributing to month-end and quarterly reports.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Supervise two team members responsible for purchase ledger and subcontractor calculations.
*Perform daily bank reconciliations for both Sterling and Euro currency accounts.
*Review sales contracts and raise sales invoices.
*Undertake and review month-end project calculations, including commission statements for payroll.
*Maintain source documents for recording sales and turnover, including posting of month-end income.
*Oversee Construction Industry Scheme processing and control, including filing monthly returns.
*Review monthly company credit card usage before processing by the accounts assistants.
*Support month-end close processes.
*Produce various management account reports including regular sales updates, quarterly design manager reports, and quarterly management reports.
*Maintain accurate accounting records.
*Handle other Ad-Hoc responsibilities as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Preferably AAT Qualified or similar, with 2-3 years post-qualification experience, or qualified by experience.
*Experience working with Sage 50 is advantageous.
*Proficiency in MS Office, predominantly Excel and Word.
*Excellent attention to detail.
*Strong time management skills.
*Effective communication skills and confidence in dealing with external parties.
*Ability to work independently and in a small team.
*Positive can-do attitude.
