Editor & Content Manager – B2B Content, Publishing & Events
UK, Remote / Hybrid / Office + Travel
Salary up to £45K + benefits
Are you an experienced B2B content professional ready to hit the ground running? We’re looking for a B2B Editor & Content Manager to lead content strategy across publishing, digital platforms, and live events. This role is open to UK-based office, hybrid, or remote working.
About the Role
You’ll be at the heart of our clients’ multi-channel B2B publishing and events portfolio, shaping their industry magazine, creating website content, writing newsletters, and developing their conference content (writing agendas and finding speakers).
This is a perfect role for b2b content producer, editor, copywriter, or conference producer who wants to lead thought-leadership content and work with multiple stakeholders across industrial sectors. We expect the position to evolve to become 50/50 content and conference production.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead editorial strategy and produce high-quality B2B content across magazines, websites, and newsletters.
*Write, edit, and commission engaging features, news, and technical analysis tailored for industrial and technical audiences.
*Produce multimedia content, including video interviews, podcasts, and digital campaigns to boost engagement.
*Manage and grow social media content reach and audience engagement.
*Research and program agendas for UK and international conferences and live events - previous B2B agenda experience highly desirable.
*Build relationships with industry leaders, trade associations, government bodies, and global stakeholders.
*Collaborate with commercial teams to create content-led revenue opportunities
Ideal Background / Skills:
*Strong editorial, content journalism, or copywriting experience in B2B publishing or agency-side roles. Conference production experience advantageous.
*Ability to write or source, and translate complex technical topics into clear, engaging content.
*Excellent communication, listening, and stakeholder management skills ("gravatás" at events).
*Highly self-motivated, able to manage projects independently.
*Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally for events and meetings.
*Able to work independently, taking ownership of projects and creating your own content initiatives.
*Comfortable managing multiple contributors and sourcing high-quality input.
*Proven ability to create and manage B2B event agendas.
*Experience in conference production, editorial, copywriting, PR, or agency-side content creation is highly desirable.
