Interim Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking an experienced interim Purchase Ledger Clerk or AP Clerk with FMCG or Manufacturing sector experience, for a 3-4 month assignment in Telford, Shropshire.
Key Responsibilities:
*Process a high volume of supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy.
*Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries efficiently.
*Maintain the purchase ledger, supporting month end processes.
*Ensure compliance with internal policies and payment schedules.
*Collaborate closely with colleagues across finance and operations.
The Ideal Candidate:
*Proven experience in purchase ledger/accounts payable.
*Experience within FMCG or manufacturing sector.
*Confident with EDI systems and automatic invoice scanning.
*Experience with Xero accounting software.
*Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
*Able to work in a fast paced, team environment.
*Immediate availability to commit to an interim assignment.
*Able to work on site in Telford 5 days per week.
