Process Metallurgist
Sheffield
£45,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience
Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a leading manufacturing business based in Sheffield who are looking for a Technical Expert to join their team as a Process Metallurgist.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll use your stainless steel expertise to help production teams and clients get the best results.
As a Process Metallurgist you will be: -Provide technical guidance and support to customers and production teams.
-Help optimise manufacturing processes and improve product quality.
-Investigate issues, find root causes, and recommend solutions.
-Support new product developments and trials.
-Communicate complex metallurgy concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
What We’re Looking For: -Degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science/Engineering or similar.
-Strong experience with stainless steels and machinability.
-Previous technical customer-facing experience.
-Hands-on experience in manufacturing or machining is a plus.
-Willing to travel in the UK and occasionally internationally.
