Recruitment Consultant – Temporary Desk (Warm Desk)

We are growing and looking for a motivated and ambitious Recruitment Consultant to take over a very warm Temporary desk based in our central Tunbridge Wells office. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into an established desk with live roles, active candidates and existing client relationships, offering genuine earning potential from the start.

The Role
You will manage the full temporary recruitment process, working closely with both candidates and clients to deliver a high-quality recruitment service. You will also be confident with business development, building relationships and developing new opportunities to grow the desk further.

Key Responsibilities
*Sourcing, interviewing and registering candidates
*Matching candidates to suitable temporary assignments
*Managing candidate pipelines and availability
*Building strong relationships with candidates and clients
*Taking job briefs and filling vacancies efficiently
*Maintaining and developing existing client accounts
*Proactively generating new business through calls, meetings and networking
*Conducting client visits and building long-term partnerships
The Ideal Candidate
This role will suit someone who is motivated, hungry and positive, with a genuine passion for working with people. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to multi-task and re-prioritise, and feel confident on the phone and face-to-face.
Applicants should have either recruitment or sales experience and must be comfortable with business development.

Salary
£28,000 - £34,000 depending on experience, higher end of the salary will be reserved for an experienced recruitment consultant who can hit the ground running. Due to this being a warm desk, we can guarantee commission from day one as well as confirm a realistic OTE in your first year of £10,000 - £25,000 in commission on top of your basic salary!
