Plumbing Lecturer & Assessor (Further Education)*Location: Walthamstow
*Hours: Part-time, 21.6 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
*Contract: Fixed Term until July 2026
*Salary: Up to £26,674
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Plumbing Lecturer and Assessor to join our Further Education team on a fixed-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of plumbing professionals, delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across our Plumbing curriculum.
Day-to-day of the role:*Deliver engaging and inclusive teaching sessions across Plumbing qualifications.
*Assess learner competency in both workshop and classroom settings.
*Prepare lesson plans and learning materials aligned with curriculum requirements.
*Provide feedback, guidance, and support to help learners achieve their goals.
*Maintain accurate records of learner progress and assessment outcomes.
*Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Plumbing programme.
Required Skills & Qualifications:*Qualified in Plumbing (Level 3 or equivalent).
*Experience in the plumbing industry and/or in teaching and assessing.
*Ability to deliver high-quality, learner-centred teaching.
*Organised, approachable, and committed to supporting student success.
*Ideally holding a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards one).
*Assessor qualification is desirable.
