RG Consultancy are working with an excellent, growing company based in Chorley who are looking for an experienced, all round Accounts Assistant to join them on a permanent part-time basis.
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working alongside another Accounts Assistant, this role would be responsible for helping with the day-to-day accounting transactions and ensuring the ledgers are tidy.
Duties include:
*Processing sales ledger invoices
*Processing purchase ledger invoices
*Bank reconciliations
*Preparing payment runs
*Dealing with accounts queries and managing the inbox
*Assisting with month end ledger close
*Adhoc accounting duties as required by the Financial Controller
This role is suitable for an experienced Accounts Assistant who is used to working across both sides of the ledger. The hours can be adjusted and would be ideal for someone looking for school hours around childcare. Experience with systems like Sage 50 and Xero would also be an advantage.
