Job Description:
I am working with a local business who are searching for a Part Time Accounts Assistant to join their team
Role Details
Working Pattern: 2 days per week – Tuesday and Thursday (preferable)
Salary: £15 per hour (£28,860 FTE)
Job Description
Credit control activities, including professionally chasing overdue accounts.
Assisting with sales ledger management, including raising customer invoices and allocating payments.
Managing the accounts mailboxes, ensuring all incoming emails are monitored, prioritised, and actioned promptly.
Setting up bank payments.
Matching purchase orders to delivery notes.
Matching fuel receipts to invoices.
Processing credit notes.
Checking drivers’ corporate card statements.
Checking for missing invoices.
Managing petty cash.
Sending out statements.
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant or finance administration role.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
This role will start with 2 days per week but there is a potential to increase this in time.
