Billing & Revenue Assistant
Location: Central London
Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 (dependent on experience)
Working Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days office based, 2 days remote
A well-established and highly regarded media business is seeking a Billing & Revenue Assistant to become part of its expanding finance function. Based in Central London, this permanent opportunity offers the chance to work closely with an experienced Billing Manager while gaining valuable exposure to invoicing, revenue analysis and finance process enhancement.

The office is situated in a lively part of Central London, surrounded by fantastic restaurants, cafés and transport connections. The company offers a flexible hybrid model, with three days in the office and two from home each week.
This position would suit someone who has prior experience in billing or finance administration, ideally with exposure to NetSuite or a comparable finance system. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with figures, spotting discrepancies, improving workflows and contributing to accurate revenue reporting within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoicing & Revenue Administration
*Generate and distribute invoices covering point-of-sale, events, accommodation and corporate clients
*Review and validate data from EPOS and CRM platforms before processing invoices
*Maintain organised and audit-ready billing records
*Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, amendments and adjustments
Sales Reporting & Revenue Monitoring
*Compile and circulate daily revenue reports
*Track variances including cancellations, credits, amendments and aged debt
*Assist in preparing month-end billing summaries and revenue analysis
Systems & Process Enhancement
*Contribute to improvements in billing procedures and reporting efficiencies
*Identify patterns in recurring billing issues and recommend corrective actions
*Support system upgrades, testing and wider automation initiatives
Cross-Functional Support & Compliance
*Partner with Sales, Events and Operations teams to address invoice-related queries
*Escalate complex or high-risk matters when necessary
*Ensure adherence to VAT regulations, accounting standards and revenue recognition guidelines
